ANNOUNCING OUR 2027 Creative Time Residential Fellowships Recipients

by May Gibbs Children's Literature Trust October 25, 2026

We are excited to announce the seven recipients selected to undertake a May Gibbs Children's Literature Trust Creative Time Residential Fellowship in 2027. This wonderful opportunity offers each Fellow ‘the gift of time’, through being able to take time away from home in accommodation provided by the Trust, to concentrate intensively on their work.

We extend our congratulations to Michelle Wilson (QLD), James Phelan (VIC), Nicky Johnston (VIC), Kathleen Jennings (QLD), Melissa-Jane Fogarty (NSW), Karen Foxlee (QLD) and Lucinda Gifford (VIC). We look forward to sharing with you more exciting updates around their Fellowship experiences next year.
